Ejaz Ahmad (Environmentalist): Climate change is a global phenomenon which requires long-term planning and initiatives to overcome such situations. First of all, we have to find out the root causes of heat wave and tackle these efficiently, so that we can have fruitful results. Record breaking hot weather has been observed in South Asia during the months of March & April which was due to our negligence regarding climate change and its consequences. Glaciers are also melting down fast due to severe hot weather. Carbon through greenhouse gases as well as vehicle emissions is increasing day by day. Therefore, better plans and policies are required to restore our natural environment for the coming generations.
