Brig. (Retd.) Said Nazir (Defense Expert): Pakistan and Afghanistan are connected by deep religious, cultural and geographical ties and both have similar goals. Pakistan has played an active and sincere role for bringing peace in Afghanistan. Islamabad is now urging world community to provide assistance to Afghanistan to avert humanitarian crisis there.
