Two topics were discussed in today’s program including nation to celebrate Diamond Jubilee tomorrow and Pakistan’s condemnation of terrorist attack in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking in the program, Dr Abdul Basit Mujahid, Asst. Prof. History, AIOU, said we are more than blessed as we are an independent country. He said we need to work hard to realize the dream of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.  

Eminent IR Expert Dr Shaheen Akhtar said when Pakistan came into being we inherited a number of challenges in the form of weaker economy, lack of industry, settlement of refugees and many others. She said we are a growing country, having well-established individuals in various walks of life that are making their homeland and people proud.
