Protests erupted in different parts of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), with demonstrators demanding statehood restoration, water crisis resolution, and worker rights protection.    

In Srinagar, protesters criticized the Modi regime for delays in restoring statehood, stressing that the distance from Delhi is increasing and people are disheartened.
