March 31, 2020

United Nation has called for 2.5 trillion dollars coronavirus rescue package for developing countries to boost their resilience to further hardship in wake of coronavirus threat.

In an appeal, UNCTAD director of Globalization and Development Strategies, Richard Kozul-Wright, said the economic fallout from coronavirus pandemic is likely to get much worse before it gets better for some six billion people living in developing economies.

He said the health crisis is still to come in many developing countries.
