March 31, 2020

In Occupied Kashmir, many migrant workers who are stuck in the region in the wake of growing COVID-19 cases are making desperate appeals to the authorities for food and transportation.

According to KMS, the pandemic in the region has seen a surge to 48 cases from initial 13 cases.

Over 6,000 patients have been put under observation, while two have died.

Meanwhile, the Internet Freedom Foundation and All private schools association of Kashmir have urged the authorities to lift the restrictions on use of internet services as it is necessary to effectively fight against coronavirus.
