In Bangladesh, 23 people have died and 27 others are missing after a ferry capsized near river port of Sadarghat in Dhaka following a collision with another vessel.

Rescue officials say they have so far recovered 23 bodies from the sunken ferry. The ferry was carrying fifty people on board.
