In the travel show, Pakistan set up 27 stalls including four Provinces Gilgit-Baltistan Azad Kashmir Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation.

For the first time, stalls have been set up by 20 private organizations related to the promotion of tourism in Pakistan.

Managing Director Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation Aftab ur Rehman Rana Sadia Nauman Consulate General of Pakistan Trade and Investment Consul Talat Mehmood and the embassy staff assisted in the preparation of the Pakistan Pavilion.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Show’, Advisor to Prime Minister on Tourism and Sports Aun Chaudhry said the government is extending all possible support for encouraging investment in tourism sector. 

He said great investment opportunities are available in tourism sector of Pakistan. He urged overseas Pakistanis and investors to take full advantage of this opportunity and explore tourism potential of Pakistan.

He said efforts are being made to promote and showcase Pakistan's rich tourism heritage at all international forums with active participation of stakeholders.

Participation of Pakistan in the New York Travel and Adventure Show 2023 can create a soft image of Pakistan internationally and bring in the foreign investment in the tourism and hospitality sector of the country.
