Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz says the government is committed to rule of law and elements.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Monday, he said PTI leadership and government believe in independence of the institutions and meritocracy to ensure justice.
Shibli Faraz said Prime Minister Imran Khan's commitment to the country is evident from the transfer of his legal assets to Pakistan and contrary to this PML-N leadership accumulated the wealth and built up assets abroad.
He said Imran Khan provided the money trail of forty years without blaming the institutions.
The Information Minister said PML-N leadership always used the national institutions for their personal interests.
He said the PML-N leadership instead of criticizing Imran Khan should give answers related to their assets beyond means.
Speaking on the occasion, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shahzad Akbar said Shahbaz Sharif has lost the battle on legal front, therefore, now his party is trying to mislead the public through mischievous statements and talks.
He said PML-N believes in selective justice that serves their own interest otherwise they stand against courts as per their previous history.
Shahzad Akbar said according to NAB, Shahbaz Sharif was involved in organized money laundering and there are sixteen other accused in his case.
