Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb has congratulated the nation on the anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer.

In a statement, she said the announcement of Youm-e-Takbeer reflects that Pakistan is independent and will remain independent forever.

The Minister said the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif proved that we can never be surrendered.  

She said, on this day, we reiterate our commitment to never compromise on Pakistan's independence, sovereignty and national interest.

The Minister also paid tribute to all the people including Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan and his team, who established, developed and manifested the nuclear program.
