Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Muhammad Aamir Dogar says the government has laid the foundation of transparent polls through passing legislation on Electronic Voting Machines.

Addressing an open Katchery in Multan today [Saturday], he said only those people are opposing electronic voting system who came into power through negative tactics.

Lauding the role of overseas Pakistanis in development of the country, the Special Assistant said overseas Pakistanis are sending billion of rupees to their homeland and deserve right of franchise.

Muhammad Aamir Dogar said Prime Minister Imran Khan is taking concrete measures to provide relief to marginalized and downtrodden segments of society.
