People in Bangladesh are criticizing the Indian government for releasing water from the Dumber Dam into Bangladesh's Tripura state without prior warning.
According to a report by CNN, protesters in Bangladesh are shouting anti-India slogans, including "We Hate India" and "This Is Indian Water." Many Bangladeshis believe that India intentionally released the water as a form of revenge against the Bengali people for their role in toppling the Indian-backed government.
The floods in Bangladesh have impacted nearly 5 million people, and at least 18 people have been killed, with the number expected to rise as the floodwaters recede.
