President Dr Arif Alvi has urged universities and higher education institutions to establish meaningful and practical links with well-known international universities.

Chairing the board meeting of Lahore University of Management Sciences in Lahore on Friday, he stressed the need to learn from each other's best practices, experiences, innovations and creativity.

He said in order to transform Pakistan into a modern and developed country, there is a need to take prompt decisions and ensure timely implementation

The President said universities should incorporate new and emerging technologies into the curriculum, and produce skilled quality graduates who are able to meet the challenges of the modern world.
