Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz says the government is committed to put the country on path of economic progress and prosperity.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he said all out efforts are being made to reduce inflation and expressed the hope that the people would witness a visible reduction in price hike in few weeks.

The Minister said Pakistan has huge potential and the PTI government would bring progress and prosperity.

Replying to a question, he said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is the project of people of Pakistan and not of a particular political party.

Criticizing the PDM meeting in Quetta, the Minister condemned opposition leaders for hurling attacks on country's integrity and institutions.
