FM lauds PM for exposing Indian atrocities against Kashmiris

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has lauded Prime Minister Imran Khan for exposing atrocities being perpetrated against innocent Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement regarding Prime Minister's virtual address to the UN General Assembly, the Foreign Minister said Imran Khan apprised the international community about unilateral actions by India in Jammu and Kashmir on fifth of the last month, communication blackout, use of pallet guns against innocent civilians, imposition of black laws, attempts to change demography of the area by amending the domicile rules, grave human rights abuses and violation of international laws and Geneva Conventions in IIOJK.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Imran Khan, while expressing apprehensions about any false flag operation from India, made it clear that New Delhi is playing with peace of the region due to its adversarial polices.  He said the Prime Minister, in his speech, also mentioned mistreatment of 300 million minorities in India, including Muslims, who have been living under extreme fear.

The Foreign Minister said Imran Khan once again highlighted Pakistan's stance on Palestine that Islamabad supports two-state solution to this issue in accordance with UN Resolutions over the matter.

He said the Prime Minister also warned the world about presence of spoilers, while highlighting Pakistan's reconciliatory efforts for peace in Afghanistan. He said Imran Khan also talked about reforms in the United Nations, global debt relief to help the developing countries, climate change, the menace of money laundering, and Islamophobia.
