Inaugurating the anti-polio campaign in Peshawar on Monday, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan said eradication of polio disease from the society is the top priority of the present government.
Mahmood Khan said the government is ready to remove reservations of all the stakeholders about polio vaccine.
Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent Matiullah reports that the anti-polio campaign has been started in twenty-seven districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
More than four point six million children will be vaccinated during the drive.
Three thousand police personnel have been deployed for security of polio teams across the province.
