Pakistan Hajj Mission Makkah has finalized the procedure for depositing sacrificial money from its pilgrims as per MoU signed between Pakistan and Islamic Development Bank.

Director Hajj Makkah Sajid Manzoor Asadi while talking to Radio Pakistan's correspondent in Makkah told that the implementation of the agreement has been started.

He said representatives are being appointed in all residential sectors of Makkah to collect money from the pilgrims.

The director said these representatives will collect an amount worth 809 Saudi Riyals from the pilgrims, deposit it in the relevant branch of the Islamic Development Bank and hand over the coupon to each pilgrim.

Responding to a question, the Director Hajj said, under the agreement, the bank has shared its data system with the Hajj Mission, in which all required data of pilgrims will be entered which will also be available on the website of the bank.

He said a meeting between Pakistan Hajj Mission with Bank officials is scheduled to be held tomorrow (Monday) to resolve further issues regarding sacrificial process.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Hajj Mission has warned Pakistani pilgrims to avoid submitting the amount to any unconcerned person or group.

Some elements are actively working in selling fake sacrificial coupons at discounted prices in Makkah.

Makkah Police have arrested a foreign group selling fake sacrificial coupons among Hajj pilgrims. The Police said they will hand over the group to the public prosecution after completing initial investigation.
