Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has expressed the government's commitment to promote different sports in the country to project its positive, progressive and peaceful image.     

Addressing Karate Camp Workshop at Sports Complex in Islamabad on Wednesday, she said Prime Minister Imran Khan being a sportsman is taking special interest in bringing reforms in the sports.

She assured that the government would provide full opportunities to exploit the true potential of the youth in different sports including cricket, hockey, football, boxing and karate.
