Shaukat Tarin (Finance Minister) The core focus of the National Security policy is the economic welfare of the common man that makes it an unprecedented economic policy. All the other policies will drive their inference from this policy prism. But stable trade and economic relations with regional countries is an imperative to ensure economic security of the general public. The hostile and obnoxious BJP in the east of Pakistan rules out any bilateral trade option between Pakistan and India. But in the West Pakistan has a more stable Afghanistan that will pave the way to Central Asian States. The 'Stan’s' of Central Asia are also landlocked countries and multilateral trade agreements can open more avenues for economic development in both regions. Moreover, the sea and CPEC routes will provide Pakistan with trade opportunities in the Gulf and African region. There should be only two types of taxes principally that are income tax and consumption tax.  The other entire tax burden on the public is due to the uncontrolled and unabated tax evasion. The incumbent government is focusing on increasing and broadening the tax base of the country. The process of digitalization and documentation of the economy will play a deterministic role in achieving this milestone. The sore in the income tax, sales tax, VAT, and GST will be reduced once the tax base is broadened and the general public starts paying due taxes.

Dr Mirza Ikhtiyar Baig (Economics) The term of Aqua economy/Blue economy is quite new and it certainly relates to utilization of water/sea resources. Pakistan incurs a vast coastline that further connects Pakistan to the rest of the world via sea routes. Moreover, not only the routes but the exploration of unearthed resources in the continental shelf and deep sea are indispensable for economic growth. For instance, there are innumerable oil and gas reserves that are yet to be extracted. The sea waters can also be a decisive opportunity for the tourism industry. The geo-strategic position of Pakistan has plunged it to the position of the hub of the South Asian region. The SAARC economies have only two major economic powers that are India and Pakistan. There is a dire need that Pakistan should keep the political differences and economic goals in separate quadrants. Pakistan should focus on the regional trade as there is only 5% of the regional trade being conducted among the SAARC economies.

Dr Qibla Ayaz (Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology) The Comprehensive National Security Policy of Pakistan categorically dictates about the prevalence of peace and extermination of hate speech. The fundamental ideology that led to the foundation of Pakistan endures the concept of coexistence and pluralism. The nefarious practices like racism, discrimination on the basis of creed, gender etc are strongly condemned by the constitution of Pakistan. Pakistan stands at the high moral grounds than India as India is resorting to genocide and violation of International Law in IIOJ&K. Contrarily; Pakistan has opened borders at Kartarpur and is playing a constructive role for promotion of peace in the region. The protection of minorities is the utmost important goal of the incumbent government and India should take notes to civilize their interaction with minorities.

Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad (Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee) The sacred scripture for Muslims that is Holy Quran guides Muslims to hold tight the rope of Allah S.W.T and shun sectarian divisions. Moreover, The Holy Prophet Muhammad S.A.W has also narrated that the best among all is the Muslim who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue and hands. So, the fundamentals of Islam categorically negate propagation of violence, extremism and terrorism. The love and compassion for the homeland is an integral part of Islam. The ulema, religious scholars from different sects collectively with the government officials have devised a policy framework that has declared extremism and terrorism as Haram in Islam. The framework of Paigham-e-Pakistan is substantiated by the Fatwas of religious scholars from every sect. Pakistan has already suffered a lot due to terrorism and the blood of the martyrs should not go in vain. The fundamental rationale of the National Security Policy is to ensure the security of the common man and the ulemas have played a constructive role in that cause. It is not only the duty of the government officials and ulemas to curb the issue of extremism but also the general public should also follow the suit and objective teachings of Islam.
