Kashmiris to observe Indian Republic Day as Black day

Kashmiri on both sides of the Line of Control and rest of the world will observe India’s Republic Day, on Wednesday, as a Black Day to register their protest against the Indian illegal occupation of their homeland.   

The AJK Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has directed the administration of all districts to take out protest rallies and gatherings so as to convey a strong message to the world community that Kashmiris will never accept Indian illegal occupation of their motherland.

He appealed to the leadership of all political parties, traders, civil society to participate fully in the anti-Indian rallies and express their sympathy with the oppressed Kashmiris living on the other side of LoC.

In the state capital Muzaffarabad, protest rallies will be taken out by Kashmir Liberation Cell, Pasban e Hurriyat and other religious organizations.                       

Meanwhile, the detained vice Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Shabbir Ahmad Shah has reiterated the APHC call to observe India’s Republic Day as a Black Day tomorrow as a mark of protest against the illegal occupation of Kashmiris’ motherland by India.   

In a message from Delhi’s notorious Tihar jail, he asked for maintaining civil curfew in the territory.
