Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most areas of the country, while very hot in upper Sindh, south Punjab and northeast Balochistan during the next twelve hours.

However, rain-thunderstorm is expected in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining areas.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:   

Islamabad twenty-two degree centigrade, Lahore and Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-five, Quetta twenty-three, Gilgit fifteen, Muzaffarabad twenty and Murree eighteen degree centigrade.       

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Anantnag and Baramulla and hot and dry in Jammu while partly cloudy in Pulwama and Shopian. 

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar and Anantnag fourteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-six, Leh five, Pulwama thirteen, Shopian twelve and Baramula fifteen degree centigrade.
