Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Defence Analyst): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s statement againstIndian government for involving prominent Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik in a fake terrorism case shows commitment of Pakistan towards Kashmir. India in their act of state terrorism is violating the right of Kashmiris and making their life miserable. Due to India's lobby in different countries, no one is batting an eye on their atrocities and inhuman behavior. India, due to its harsh policies, has made lives of the people of Kashmir miserable and now they are targeting its demography. Now only Pakistan and the Kashmiri people can save themselves from the oppression of Indian government.
Dr. Abid Qayyum Sulehri (Economist): Currently, the whole world is facing the shortage of food, as the world has been suffering from Covid-19. The prices of items of daily use are increasing day by day worldwide. Many countries are facing similar issues of food security, due to Russia-Ukraine war. So, Pakistan is a developing country that is already facing a lot of challenges. There is a need to devise better plans and policies to provide better living conditions to people.
Dr. Rizwan Naseer (IR Expert): The oppression of Kashmiris in IIOJ&K is increasing day by day and their atrocities have intensified. Now is the time that the United Nations addresses this issue and plays a role to provide the Kashmiri people there right of self-determination. The countries having strong narrative are respected in the world. India through its culture and people has portrayed a good image of the country by hiding its dirty side.
