A demonstration of the use of electronic voting machine was held in Islamabad on Thursday.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib and senior officials from different departments witnessed the demonstration.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister of State said modern technology is being used in the entire world for voting.

He said we also want voting in Pakistan through technology.

Farrukh Habib said the purpose of the use of technology is to make elections transparent. He said this would enhance people's confidence in the electoral process.
