Chaudhry Fawad Hussain (Federal Minister for Information): We have long standing relations and affinity with Kashmiris and deem their sacrifices unmatchable and unparalleled. Whole Pakistani nation has been supporting the right to self-determination of Kashmiris for the last over 72 years. Kashmir has a special importance for Pakistan and we have fought four wars over this issue. Our economy, politics and everything is tied to the issue of Kashmir. Unfortunately, India has been led by an extremist government that is forwarding the RSS agenda. Their aim is to establish a Hindutva society in India. If we look at Covid situation in India, their economic condition and a host of other issues, it becomes clear that Indian society as a whole is collapsing.
Dr. Qibla Ayaz (Islamic Scholar): The spirit behind Eid-ul-Adha is to surrender before the will of Allah Almighty. It reminds us of the great sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). He was rewarded by Allah in the form of an animal in lieu of the sacrifice of his son Ismael. When we are ready to surrender to the will of Allah, it means we should fully submit to the teachings of Islam. We should kill hatred, jealousy and all other negative aspects of human personality. On this auspicious day, our Kashmiri brethren are facing brutalities of Indian occupation forces and are not even allowed to celebrate the festival of Eid-ul-Adha freely. India is not giving Kashmiris their due right of observing their religious rituals which is a universal granted right.
Dr. A. Z. Hilali (IR Expert): Leading Indian media outlets are saying that Modi government is becoming increasingly frustrated towards Pakistan. International human rights watchdogs like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have been highlighting the human rights abuses in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The role of India in launching a sinister propaganda campaign against Pakistan has been verified by international organizations like EU DisinfoLab. India is also angry towards its diminishing role in Afghanistan where Taliban forces have made significant gains in recent weeks. India has been using Afghan soil to launch disruptive activities inside Pakistan. Pakistan has always been talking about peace in the region and emphasizing that resolution of all disputes lies in talks.
