In Afghanistan, four Taliban militants and two security personnel have been killed as clash erupted in Badakhshan province.

According to the local authorities, the clashes between government forces and Taliban militants flared up after the Taliban attacked a police checkpoint in Pul-e-Sangani area of Wardoj district today.
