The Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of Organization of Islamic Cooperation has strongly condemned the extrajudicial killing of three labourers in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement, the OIC's human rights organ denounced the killings, also confessed by the Indian occupation forces, as excessive wrongdoing under draconian Armed Forces Special Powers Act.

The statement said that admission of this heinous act reinforces the OIC Human Rights Commission's repeated concerns on intensity and frequency of such crimes committed by Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir with impunity under Armed Forces Special Powers Act supported by the State apparatus under the Hindutva ideology, which is also widely condemned by the United Nations and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The OIC Human Rights Commission urged the international community to establish commission of inquiry under United Nations to investigate these extrajudicial killings and grave human rights violations.

It also asked the United Nations to urge India to repeal Armed Forces Special Powers Act and Public Safety Act and respect Kashmiris' right to self-determination as per UN and OIC resolutions.
