Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr. Fehmida Mirza has said the government has to put in all its efforts to make Davis Cup Tie a Mega Event which is scheduled next month in Pakistan.

Chairing a meeting to review the security arrangements prior to the Davis Cup Tie in Islamabad on Thursday, she said all support will be provided to Pakistan Tennis Federation in organizing the event successful. 

She further said that Pakistani players have always given tremendous performances and made the country proud in all the international sports events. She prayed that this time again the hard work of Pakistani players would produce fruitful results.

PTF president informed the meeting that seven players from Slovenia's team would come to Pakistan to take part in the event.

Secretary IPC, Muhammad Ali Shehzada, Director General Pakistan Sports Board Amna Imran, President Pakistan Tennis Federation Salim Saifullah Khan and others attended the meeting.
