In the ICC T-20 World Cup qualifying round, Scotland beat Papua New Guinea by 17 runs on Tuesday.

Batting first, Scotland scored 165 runs in allotted 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets.

In reply, Papua New Guinea were 148 for all in 19.3 overs.
