Indian government is set to enforce a week-long lockdown in its capital Delhi starting from tonight after a record spike in cases.
This was announced by the Capital Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today (Monday).
He added that the Delhi's healthcare system is just near to collapse because of the worsening COVID-19 outbreak.
He said that the capital city is also facing acute shortage of hospital beds, medical oxygen and key medicines supplies such as the anti-viral Remdesivir putting the patients' live at stake.
