Experts call fascist Hindutva ideology dangerous to regional peace and security
January 19, 2021

Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Defense Analyst): India is habitual of maligning Pakistan through falsehood and negative propaganda at the international front. The BJP-led government is using the media and other institutions as proxy tools against Pakistan. Islamabad is pursuing an effective diplomacy to expose Indian atrocities at the international level. It is a diplomatic victory for Pakistan that the international community has started taking notice of India’s worst human rights violations. The world community must hold India accountable for its mischievous activities against neighboring countries. Pakistan has sufficient evidence that proves India's involvement in state sponsored terrorism.  We must convert all the evidence into proper documents. It is high time for the regional countries to make collective efforts to contain India's hegemonic agenda which is posing a serious threat to regional peace and security. The United Nations Security Council must take practical actions against India for committing the worst human rights violations in IIOJ&K. Pakistan must contact International Court of Justice against Indian false propaganda.

Jalil Abbas Jilani (Former Ambassador): Pakistan has exposed India's anti-Pakistan propaganda and worst atrocities in IIOJK very effectively. The world community must pressurize India to stop the worst human rights violations in IIOJ&K. Pakistan is a peace loving country. However, our desire for peace should not be taken as our weakness. Our security forces are capable enough to give a befitting response to Indian aggression. We must stay positive and hope that the new administration of the United States would take notice of India's hegemonic policies. Pakistan and the United States would enter into a new era of cooperation under the leadership of Joe Biden.

Mirza Ikhtiyar Baig (Economist): It is appreciable that Pakistan has successfully completed the first phase of CPEC and entered into the second phase. The special economic zones would enhance economic activities and generate massive job opportunities. The incumbent government is taking corrective measures to make conducive environment for investors. Pakistan has cheap human capital and highly skilled labor. CPEC would change the fate of the entire region. Security is a real challenge to CPEC as India is jealous of Pakistan improving its economic position. The time is near when Pakistan will reap the benefits of this mega project. Gwadar is the future trade hub of Pakistan. Pakistan and China are committed to complete the CPEC related project in time. Improvement in power generation and distribution mechanism is imperative to make electricity affordable for poor segments of the country.
