IIOJ&K: Posters appear against illegal detention of JKLF Chairman

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have appeared in Srinagar and other areas to register Kashmiris’ protest against illegal detention of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, and APHC leaders and youth languishing in different jails of the territory and India.

Similar posters also appeared on social media urging the United Nations to shun its criminal silence on Indian atrocities in IIOJK. It also urged to take steps for resolution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

On the other hand, complete shutdown will be observed in IIOJK on Saturday, to mark martyrdom anniversaries of prominent liberation leaders, Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone and martyrs of Hawal.

Meanwhile, UK Minister of State in the Foreign Office, Lord Tariq Ahmed, responding to a question, told the House of Lords that the British government is monitoring trial of incarcerated JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik very closely.

The matter put to him by Lord Qurban Hussain, who termed the charges against Yasin Malik as “fake”, saying that his life is in real danger.
