Minister for National Health Services Regulations and Coordination Aamer Mehmood Kiani has warned that stern action will be taken against those found involved in manufacturing and sale of unregistered, counterfeit and smuggled medicines.

In a statement today, he said Drug Regulatory Authority has been directed not to allow manufacturing and sale of these drugs in the country and take immediate action against the persons involved in such activities.

He said that Drug Regulatory Authority has already conducted raids throughout the country and seized unregistered drugs.
