Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib has asked Election Commission of Pakistan to activate scrutiny committee at the earliest to investigate funding of all political parties, including PPP & PML-N.

Talking to media in Islamabad today (Tuesday), he said the Election Commission should resolve this issue in lines with the decision of the Supreme Court

Meanwhile, in a statement, the minister said that Supreme Court had disqualified Nawaz Sharif, who will have to return Pakistan to face accountability cases.

Farrukh Habib said PTI government came into power through the votes of masses and will complete its constitutional tenure.
