Very cold weather is expected in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north Balochistan, while cold and dry in other parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad three degree centigrade, Lahore and  Peshawar five, Karachi thirteen,  Quetta minus one, Gilgit minus three, Muzaffarabad four and Murree two degree centigrade.    

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and dry weather is likely to prevail in Srinagar, Leh, Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramulla while cold, dry and foggy weather in Jammu. 

Temperature recorded this morning, Srinagar and Pulwama  minus four degree centigrade, Jammu seven, Leh minus eleven, Baramulla minus two,  Anantnag minus one and Shopian zero degree centigrade.
