Islamabad and Beijing have expressed the resolve to work together to thwart designs of their common enemies, who want to disrupt China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The resolve was expressed at a meeting between Deputy Director General Ministry of Public Security of China Mr. Gao Fei and National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Authority Muhammad Tahir Rai in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Gao Fei, along with a delegation, visited the NACTA headquarters in the federal capital today, where Muhammad Tahir Rai briefed the delegation on contribution of the authority to counter terrorism and extremism.
The two sides were of the view that the common enemies and terrorists will be defeated jointly by both iron brother countries.
Muhammad Tahir Rai emphasized the significance of cooperation in sharing of expertise in counterterrorism domain.
Mr Gao Fei appreciated the efforts of Pakistan in strengthening of cooperation to combat terrorism and extremism.
