The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to procure one point four metric tonnes of wheat during the fiscal year 2022-23.
It was decided during a cabinet meeting in Peshawar today (Tuesday). Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan presided.
Later, briefing the media about cabinet decisions Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said the wheat procurement will be completed in two phases which will cost more than two point five billion rupees.
He said the Provincial Government will start Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Insaf Food Card to provide two thousand and one hundred rupees monthly for edibles to one million deserving poor families across the province.
