Dr. Talat Wizarat (IR Expert): The treatment of Zionists towards Palestinians is tantamount to holocaust. It is regrettable that international community has kept deliberate silence over bloodshed of Palestinians. The current violence in Gaza is a one-sided assault on the Palestinian people by the Israeli forces. The world powers are not raising their voice because of their political and strategic interests with Israel. The Muslim world is divided and lacks unity to put pressure on Israel. It is high time for OIC to play its important role in order to resolve decades-old conflict so that Palestinians could have their own state with East Jerusalem its capital. The global community should be urged to play role to end the escalation in violence and revive peace negotiations based on a two-state solution. Israel must show flexibility and sincerity as its intransigence will further aggravate the situation not only for Palestinians but also for itself. 

Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal (IR Expert): The present situation in Gaza is reflection of worst brutality, genocide, state terrorism and strong military machine of Israel. Israel is determined to suppress the calls for free Palestine by all means with the support of the United States. We are not witnessing strong condemnation at the international level regarding Palestinian genocide being committed by Israeli forces. The continued Israeli aggression on innocent Palestinians will increase hate against Israel in the Muslim Ummah that will be counter-productive. The United Nations and UN Security Council are dominated by the Christian community with United States as its leader. Moreover, Jewish community is playing a prominent role in US politics. So we should have no expectations from Biden administration that concrete steps will be taken to resolve this conflict. It is responsibility of OIC and the Arab League to play a key role to stop Israeli atrocities against Palestinians. Pakistan is determined to continue to support Palestinians in their struggle.

Dr. A. Z. Hilali (IR Expert): The recent events in Gaza and Jerusalem have given rise to grave abuses of human rights of Palestinian people. With no end in sight of the violence, casualties are mounting fast due to brutal attacks by Israeli military. Israel is committing genocide in Gaza in its military offensive. Human Rights Watch has documented the regular use of excessive and vastly disproportionate force by Israeli authorities deliberately targeting Palestinian civilians or their infrastructure. It is time that the international community takes responsibility to help find a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and also resolves other conflicts in the region. The indiscriminate use of force against defenseless Palestinians defies all humanitarian norms and human rights laws. The silence and ineffectiveness of Muslim Ummah has made Palestinians more vulnerable and Israel more aggressive. World must stop Israel from this naked and brutal aggression against innocent Palestinians.
