Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says inflation in the country is a temporary phenomenon and the government would control it by next year.

Addressing various functions in Multan, he said the government is not indifferent to the hardships faced by people and is striving hard to address public problems.

The Foreign Minister said the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has zero tolerance policy against corruption.

He said the present government strongly believes in transparency and is spending national wealth and resources on public development.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the PTI government would honour its pledges made with public during 2018 elections and again go to the people’s court in next general elections on the basis of its five years performance.
