The head of the UN mission in Afghanistan Deborah Lyons met interim interior minister Sirajuddin Haqqani in Kabul and discussed humanitarian situation in the country.

In a tweet, the spokesman of Taliban Suhail Shaheen said the meeting focused on humanitarian assistance and Haqqani stressed that U.N. personnel can conduct their work without any hurdle and deliver vital aid to the Afghan people.
