Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has sought apology from the nation for suspending services of social media for three hours as a preventive measure to maintain order in the country.

In a video message on Friday, he said this action was taken as preventive measure after the protest call from outlawed TLP. He said there has been no protest after Jumma prayer.

He lauded the services of Police and Rangers in ensuring law and order of the country.
