The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has directed the concerned authorities to start the work on Chashma Right Bank Canal Project in Dera Ismail Khan to boost the agriculture sector.
He was talking to a delegation of Dera Ismail Khan led by Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in Peshawar on Sunday.
He said water courses will be constructed to irrigate the barren land in the area.
Mahmood Khan said Peshawar to Dera Ismail Khan Motorway will bring prosperity and development in Southern areas of the province besides promoting trade and economic activities.
The chief minister said doctors and paramedics will be provided for newly constructed wards of Dera Ismail Khan hospital.
He directed the district administration Tank to resolve the issue of clean drinking water on priority basis.
