China has suspended additional tariffs on some US goods that were due to take effect today.
In a statement, Chinese State Council’s customs tariff commission said the decision is taken after two countries agreed a phase one trade deal on Friday.
The statement said other Chinese tariffs that had already been implemented on U.S. goods would be left in place.
Meanwhile, China hopes to properly resolve each other’s core concerns and promote stable economic and trade relations.
