Russia has called on all sides in Lebanon to show restraint after deadly clashes as tensions rise over last year's explosions in Beirut.            

The Foreign Ministry in a statement said that Moscow is extremely concerned about the growing political tensions in Lebanon.

The statement expressed the hope that the government of Prime Minister Najib Mikati would be able to cope with a dangerous and considerably difficult challenge.
