Britain has called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.   

During his visit to Israel and Palestinian territories, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said the loss of life in Gaza is horrendous and it has to stop.   

In a post on X, he also underscored the need to protect civilians and deliver unlimited humanitarian aid to Gaza and finding a path to a two-state solution of the issue.
