China has opposed the visit of Indian Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu to disputed region of Arunachal Pradesh.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian, at a regular media briefing in Beijing, urged India to earnestly respect China’s major concerns regarding boundary issue.

He said the Chinese government will never recognise the so-called Arunachal Pradesh established unilaterally and illegally by the Indian side.
