France has announced to contribute 100 million euros for emergency humanitarian work in Afghanistan following the UN flash appeal.

Speaking at ministerial meeting on the situation in Afghanistan in Geneva, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said half of the Afghan population is now at risk, including more than four million women and around 10 million children.
