Indian Supreme Court has sought a response from Indian government, the puppet administration of occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and Election Commission of India (ECI) on a plea of two Kashmiris challenging the Indian government’s decision to constitute the Delimitation Commission for redrawing the Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

A two-member bench of the court issued notice to the concerned parties and sought responses within six weeks.

Two residents of Srinagar, Haji Abdul Ganai Khan and Dr Mohammad Ayub Mattoo have filed the petition challenging the constitution of the delimitation panel.
