Balochistan government is executing several projects to ensure provision of best health facilities to the masses of the province at their doorsteps.

The sources of Provincial Health Department told Radio Pakistan Quetta correspondent that the eight District Headquarters Hospitals of the province are being upgraded to Teaching Hospitals for which fifty million rupees have been allocated for each hospital.

The sources further said that thirty bedded isolation and High Dependency Unit equipped with ventilators and other necessary facilities have been established for COVID-19 patients at Bolan Medical Complex Hospital in Quetta.

Similarly, health facilities are being improved at the hospitals in far flung areas of the province under a comprehensive strategy.
