Hot weather is expected in most plain areas of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, rain with wind thunderstorm is expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa, Potohar region, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during the evening and night.

Temperatures of some major cities recorded this morning: 

Islamabad and Peshawar twenty degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-three, Karachi twenty-five, Quetta seventeen, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit thirteen, and Murree eight degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain-thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar and Anantnag while partly cloudy weather in Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Shopian and Baramulla.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar, Anantnag and Shopian nine degree centigrade,  Jammu eighteen, Leh three and Pulwama and Baramulla eight degree centigrade.
