In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the incarcerated All Parties Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt, has denounced the unabated killing spree unleashed by Indian troops across the territory.

Masarrat Aalam Butt in a message from New Delhi’s notorious Tihar jail maintained that the ruthless killing of innocent Kashmiri people, demanding their legitimate and inalienable right to self-determination, is a brazen violation of international laws, Human Rights Charter and commitments made by Indian leaders before the world community.

On the other hand, Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt, has stressed for meaningful and result-oriented dialogue to settle the lingering Kashmir dispute.

Addressing a mourning gathering in Sopore, he said that in the present changing volatile situation, peace should be given a chance to prevail in the region but it could never be achieved in the presence of disputes and Kashmir dispute is the main hurdle in the way of cordial relations between Pakistan and India.
